Dear PEP Families and Friends,
The Verizon Heritage Golf Tournament is April 12-18, 2010. Birdies for Charity is a special fundraising program made available to area nonprofit organizations who register.
Programs for Exceptional People is a nonprofit organization that serves adults on Hilton Head Island and in southern Beaufort County who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. PEP provides skills training and programs in the areas of employment, utilization of community resources, independent living, and the opportunity for community inclusion and socialization.
PLEASE consider downloading and completing the Birdies for Charity Pledge Form and return it to Programs for Exceptional People as soon as possible or by April 15, 2010 at the latest. If you would like to register online you may do so at the Birdies for Charity website. Please remember to designate Programs for Exceptional People and consider pledging 5, 10 or 25 cents per birdie. In 2009, 1,321 birdies were made by the PGA TOUR golfers.
Programs for Exceptional People is the only organization in southern Beaufort County providing these much-needed services to an under-served population. Won’t you help us today by completing and returning the pledge form? Thank you in advance for your support.
